GIVENCHY: Pre-Fall 2013 MENSWEAR

Cutting-edge fashion brand Givenchy and designer Riccardo Tisci are back it with another collection of canine-inspired garments, leather pants, and male skirts for pre-fall 2013. This season, the popular Rottweiler-prints are replaced with Doberman Pinscher imagery that can be found on T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, and jackets. The aggressive execution of the dogs, stars, stripes, and plaids gives the high-end range a somewhat rebellious edge to it . However, the men’s pre-fall 2013 collection has some undeniably chic pieces, combining urban street style with high fashion luxury. We can’t really complain. This season's collection seems to be more subdued, and we can't complain that excessive nose piercings aren't involved. Expect to see these looks on your favorite rapper or celebrity in the year to come. 

GIVENCHY: Men's collection pre-spring 2014

Riccardo Tisci unveils  pre-spring 2014 menswear Givenchy collection expecially for STYLE.com  this week. The latest season's theme is about Favelas, fire, flowers, Bambi ( EVEN! ) and a variety of colourful camo motifs. Tisci took inspiration from Latin culture – Favelas 74. (1974 is Tisci’s birth year.) As he said : „ Men in favelas are not scared to mix and match clothing.  They represent sensuality, street, and elegance, what I recognize as elegance. I love the fact, that they play with opposite things like flowers ( which represent peace and serenity ) and camo ( which represents the army ), but all interpreted in a very colorful and positive way.“ There are so many opinions about this collection. Some people said, that this collection is too bad, too feminine and messy, probably the worst Tisci pre collection to date or something like this collection doesn't justify how men should wear. Some people like camo tees, elegant black suits or skirts. A lot of people get convinced with time. You'll see later! However, I guess that's exactly what he wanted to do, another kind of protest to someone.

This time, the photographs are allegedly official photos of Luisa Via Roma that have been leaked via Japanese website. Now, we can get a better idea of what the new Givenchy Pre-Fall Winter 2013 Doberman Print collection will look like in person. Prices maybe a little more or less which varies among countries. These pre-order items will be shipped sometime between June till October 2013. Availability of pre-order is yet to be announced by Luisa Via Roma, after it's half yearly clearance sale next month!

I’m totally Givenchy fanatic to pre orders in this time. After many months of absent, the Givenchy Red Fighter T-Shirt is finally here! Ehm, was... By the time word has spread throughout the internet about Luisa Via Roma's Givenchy Spring Summer 2013 Pre - Order Collection, the Givenchy Red Fighter T-Shirt was long gone and has never been restocked again. You might be wondering what is so special about this Givenchy Red Fighter T-shirt that everyone wants so badly? The conceptual canvas is graphically hand painted by Riccardo Tisci with a couple of jet fighters and WW2 warplanes inspired from the 20th century that looks as if it was horizontally flipped in Photoshop and paste at various strategic positions. It has less printed elements compared to the prominent Givenchy Green Fighter that drives the characteristics of Pre-Spring 2013 collection, on the other hand it is the only t-shirt from Givenchy Pre-Spring 2012 featuring modern warplanes. The Givenchy Red Fighter's design is a secondary rendition made after the main Givenchy Green Fighter to be upmarket at a much premium price point. With the various strategic price points and exclusive design offerings by Givenchy has proven sales success for the Pre-Spring 2013 t-shirt collection. The Givenchy Red Fighter's popularity was largely gained much earlier in December 2012 because of its exclusivity which was not featured at the Givenchy Pre - Spring 2013 Look Book. The most attractive extend of the Givenchy Red Fighter T-shirt from my personal opinion is not the comprehensive design. Styled with the exclusive signature glossy black metal stars-embroidered appliqué that has previously gained popularity concurrent with the Givenchy Star - Detail Cotton - Jersey T-Shirt which was also sold out within minutes on MR PORTER. Nobody really knew that Givenchy was going to offer this design combo for the following season, not until Kenzo Tokgoz uploaded a photo of himself wearing the Givenchy Red Fighter T-Shirt on his Tumblr's account that went viral on social media websites.
